Born 1976. Began my career as an illustrator and designer for two major
Israeli newspapers.While studying in the department of Visual Communication at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, I fell in love with animation and haven't stopped making it since. After graduation I worked as a freelance animator and illustrator for numerous TV Shows and commercials.
In 2004 began teaching animation in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (until 2009) and in started to work as director of animation for Ari Folman's documantry series, "The material that love is made of", creating 3 five minute animation shorts to be combined in the series. The successful connection with Ari Folman led to our next collaboration with me as director of animation for the acclaimed award winning feature "Waltz with Bashir", in which I also developed the Flash Cutout animation technique needed to create this feature
In 2008-2011 I worked as a freelance animator, creating several short films for human rights organizations, noteably the short film Closed Zone, protesting against the Gaza blockade. I also worked as an animation director in the short film "The Gift", directed by Ari Mark, and Director of animation for Dawn Shapiro's "The edge of joy".

From 2011 to 2013 worked as director of animation on Ari Folman's film "The Congress"- managing the work of 7 animation studios worldwide. The film won “best animated feature” in 2013 European academy of film awards.
From 2014 to 2017 worked as a freelance director and animator, mainly on the development of Ari Folman's "Where is Anne Frank", and on short films such as "Mami", The story of Ebola", and on the animation segments of live action features such as "Princess", The Dark Side" and "The Night".
From 2017 to 2018 I was Director of animation for the Documentary feature "It's a hard truth, Ain't it" (premiered on Tribeca IFF and later screened at HBO), where I produced and directed the animation sequences of over 15 minutes of animation.
From 2018 till 2021 I was director of animation for Ari Folman's "Where is Anne Frank", which premiered at Cannes 2021.I was in charge of the storyboard, layout and animation departments, consisting of about 200 artists in 15 studios worldwide.
I am currently working as a freelance animator, and suffer from a mild addiction to chocolate and coffee, which can I quit any time I desire.
